Health At Home

Our services range from offering domiciliary care, residential living in our home through to personal care and nursing - everything from keeping you company and helping with light housekeeping, to administering medications and changing dressings on wounds. We also offer our caregivers specialised training in Acquired Brain Injury Care, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, End of Life (Palliative) Care and Diabetes Care. All of these services are available at home, or wherever else someone may be living, such as a retirement home or long-term care community.

Personal Care in your home or ours
First Class Care caters for the personal care needs of hundreds of elderly people and young adults in their homes, or ours. We help with essential daily living chores from shopping, cleaning, gardening and washing to holiday planning be it at home or abroad. Each service user in their home may have a number of visits e.g. morning, lunch-time, evening bed times or choice of their own. Everything is geared to the specific needs of individuals.

Elderly specialist services (mental health problems, dementia, sensory impairment, learning difficulties, physical disabilities)
We are able to provide successful care services to the users who fall within the above-mentioned categories. Every worker and nurse is trained in the conditions that a service user may have in addition to the induction training provided for them. Any form of daily living that the service user may find challenging is assisted by the care worker. The carer also promotes the independence of each service user assigned to them.

Younger Adults Care Learning Difficulties
First Class Care also offers full-time one-to-one home care solutions for younger adults. This service allows you or your loved one to stay home in familiar, relaxed surroundings supported by a fully experienced live in carer.

Your carer will design a care plan to fit in with the lifestyle you desire, whether active and hectic or quiet and peaceful. We have a number of services for people with learning difficulties, ranging from registered care and nursing services, right through to supported living in our beautifully furnished homes.

Every one of our services is focused on person centred working methods. This means that the support we provide has the person at the centre and the focus to our approach is on what is important for them. We believe that these person-centred plans give us strong foundation for support, allowing us continually to listen and learn about what is important to an individual now and in the future and to act on this in partnership with them, their families or representatives.

  • We respect the individual
  • We support and encourage user's initiative and creativity
  • We act with integrity, sincerity and commitment
  • We focus on ability and aspirations
  • We work as a team

Our main aim is designed to help achieve positive outcomes for each individual. We also believe, that for this to be effective, individuals should be recognised and supported as active assessors of their own needs, planners of their own support and services, and producers of their outcomes.

Facilitate your stay at home
Our nurse case managers support your loved ones by putting together an expert team capable of providing all levels of service to address both physical and emotional needs. This allows for professional "hospital-in-home" care, when it is considered to be a more comfortable and safe environment for the patient. We will then provide post-operation, palliative, or long-term care as appropriate.

People at home with chronic or acute illnesses, or seniors challenged by ageing, often need help clarifying their priorities and with their expanded responsibilities. First Class Care will help your family by providing any of these homecare services:

  • Personal care by experienced carers
  • Companionship, home-making and light housekeeping
  • 24 hour monitoring and support by a registered nurse.
  • Assistance with daily living activities
  • Live-in care for short stays or longer-term needs.
